When facing a chronic illness the most important things to do are to understand the condition and respond to it by becoming a skilled self-manager. You must take control of the illness rather than let the illness take control of you. Pace Yourself   

It takes 2-3 times more energy to work at a fast pace than to work at a moderate pace.
